Group Rates
Teacher/student ratio is no more than 1:5; generally applies when instructor is already present
30 minutes $6/hour
60 minutes $12/hour
60 minutes 1x/week $48/month (estimated)
60 minutes 2x/week $96/month (estimated)
Private Rates
One-on-one tutoring; generally applies when instructor comes at request of student
30 minutes $22.5/hour
60 minutes $45/hour
60 minutes 1x/week $180/month (estimated)
60 minutes 2x/week $360/month (estimated)
- Group rate applies when instructor is already present and student does not request individual attention
- Private rate applies when student: a) requests individual attention, b) requests a specific instructor*, c) requests a lesson time when instructor is not already present and comes to learning center specifically to teach that student at that time
- Charges are applied in 15 minute increments; lessons will be rounded to the closest 15 minute increment for billing
- Billing is based on the scheduled lesson times, but may be adjusted based on the actual lesson times as recorded on the sign-in sheet
- Payment is due in advance on a monthly basis, based on the estimated number of lessons scheduled in the following month; missed lessons will be credited and applied to the following month’s tuition
*if tutor is already present at learning center, this may still qualify as group rate
